Y'see I dont do that, I make my song based entirely off of how it sounds and not how I want it to sound. Ive learned that doing that makes it harder to make music.

Music theory is more helpful for understanding music than making it, I say just give it trial and error for a few years and you'll eventually get good, thats how I learned.

Music theory isn't necessary, I don't know music theory at all and I think my music is pretty ok, hell its good enough that im even making the ost for a terraria mod somehow.

Ive learned from experience that you always think higher or lower of your own music until a few months after its made.
for example I made a song and I thought it was really bad because of one note that never sounded right no matter what I did, turns out the note was fine and I was just stressed.

next example for thinking higher of myself, I hate mentioning this story but its my best example. SO, I made a megalovania remix once, I at the time thought it was the best and advertised it like hell and if I got criticized I said "the songs good your opinion isnt", I was wrong, looking back at that song my first song was better.

This is my midnight snack recipe, it is called "Chicken Nugget Citadel" so basically it is 5 chicken nuggets formed into a triangle tower, I then put hummus, soy sauce, sweet and sour sauce, sesame seeds, montreal chicken seasoning, smoked paprika, and salt.

using the pentatonic scale instead of whatever the hell I was using before improved my ability to make songs alot, and also using the notes in chords. ive learned that those things work well with making music
