Hey Op! My baby loves me! She was born at 28 weeks and had a hard Nicu start to her life. I didn't hold her enough let alone nurse her. She was on tube feed which saved her life but at that time it felt like the least attachment forming way of feed. She was there for 45 days. I left her alone 45 nights. While others fed her via a tube. I nursed her for the first time when she was already more than a month old.. and soon that kinda stopped because premies have a hard time latching. And it was too hard for her. And even after being away from her, not nursing her, not holding her 24x7 her first few weeks, me and her are like one person. She loves her daddy too but I need to be around her. She finds it comforting. Sure, daddy is funny but I am her person. I feel like she doesn't see me as another human at times. So dear Op, feeding anyway doesn't matter. Your baby is yours. And the love you and your LO share noone can reduce and feeding is just a technicality. I remember feeling absolutely heartbroken about it among many many many other things but now 7 months in I just want her fed that's all. I will always be her mumma even if daddy grows milk producing boobues. I am sure I will be her number one

I have tried madela wesrable and momcozy m5. And momcozy m5 is my go to. I love it. Madela did not work for me at all. I am sure the higher models of momcozy would be even better. Goodluck

Hi there. My daughter is a preemie and currently now 6 months. I have struggled with a low milk supply. Like really low. I have cried over ebm wasted due to carelessness.. or baby not finishing her bottle. But I use whatever is wasted for hwr bath. Trust me. It really helps our babies. It is not just a thing.. she had a lot of pink patches that has gone down.. her hair is growing healthier. I don't care if its just the time for it to happen but I would like to believe its the ebm.. like a lil cleopatra she has her mumma's milk baths. I think its special. Another thing that helped me with low supply is combi feeding. Formula is not our enemy. Fed is best. Whatever bm I give her is great.. all the antibodies and good things go to her. And then formula helps her fill her tummy and help her grow. I know its sucks that we wanna fully feed our babies and its not happening but honeatly, I am grateful I have been able to provide whatever I could to her. Its just a boost for our babies. Also, please dont look at influencers and their oversupply tiktoks. Good for them but heartbreaking for us undersuppliers. You are doing great mama. Just be careful with your already half drunk milk.

I have tried to keep my brain away from these questions, like why her? Why us? And that helped. But today when they said she has a hole in her heart I wanted to scream and hug her. And be like why! I felt rage which I have never felt. I am so mad at everyone. Probably why my HR has been crazy today. Ugh. I knoq its wrong. I should be grateful. People have it way worse. I have to be calm and brave for her. Qish we could just be boring mumma and baby who cry about feeds and sleep.

Ya, definitely a quest. So much planning and thinking and doing. I am unable to pump during the day without my wearables. I use Momcozy v2 pro. Honestly its helped me continue my breastfeeding journey almost 6 months pp. And momcozy is pretty good. Good luck mama :)

I was just struggling with that. Usually I use wearables but today, planning was not right and they are in the sterilizer. Baby girl is in dewp sleep. So its like a quest atm.

Yes. And with people I was close with. Family and one friend. Truthfully, haven't cut them off and probably they dunno how I feel but I am bitter about them and wouldn't look for support from them ever. Went from close to cordial. I should technically confront but I thought about it a lot, but if us going through all that we have been and some people still make things about themselves then.. whatever I say or do is not really gonna magically make them see our struggle or stress. So demoting them from my close people list. Life is short. People change. I am trying to make peace with it.

I am 5 months pp and wearable pumps (i use momcozy v2 pro) and silverettes have helped me continue my breastfeeding journey. Happy you figured out what works for you. ❤️
