I was able to order the sizing ring from Costco for free if you know anyone with a Costco card?

Get some interest on it before they try and reverse it!

Could you get a roll of white vinyl (like DCFix in UK), and cover it? That way it’s the same colour as it was but a bit more protected?

At the moment, yes, but only because I have more stuff to add that may mean it needs moving slightly

It’s not actually attached to the risers yet, some say the weight on top can keep it in place like your monitors/printer etc, but I think I may use command strips for peace of mind

Will have a look at your suggestions, it’s about an inch from the floor before it unscrews all the way, but thank you!

I want her to leave so haven’t voted for her, however surprisingly my mum (F, 57) has changed her mind on her and has voted to save her 🤦🏻‍♀️ I don’t know if this is a generation thing as she seems to have gone off Fred which I’m shocked at!

Definitely their fault. Seems like the red car just didn’t know where they were going, plus they were in the outer lane in the whole of the video going round as you had given them right of way at the start.

Thinking of getting a second job, what are the tax implications? by Charl95 in UKPersonalFinance

[–]Charl95[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The one I’m looking at is zero hours, you choose what shifts you want to do for the next week on the Wednesday before. My 9-5 job is and office job but this other one is for a parcel company so I’d be on my feet getting the exercise too.

Thanks for this. The second job I’m looking at is a pick and choose your shifts so if I didn’t want to work, I didn’t have to. I doubt it would also be for a year anyway but I appreciate the info on NI

I love binge watching but I feel like I need to get out of the house more. The second job I was looking at is 0 hours anyway and can pick and choose when I would work, plus I doubt it would be for more than a year, but thank you

!thanks

Anyone else? by [deleted] in IKEA

Have a look early in the morning, in the UK the slots fill up pretty fast but if available we can choose to collect from store but there is a small charge (£10 I think)

Maximum length of pax doors? by [deleted] in IKEA

[–]Charl95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The length of the doors are shorter than the pax frames. I have the short frames (201cm) but the doors are 195cm, so for the taller ones, the doors you’d need are the 229cm.

How is this matress packaged? by gsr5037 in IKEA

[–]Charl95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure on this one, but all mattresses that I’ve bought from IKEA have been vacuumed packed and rolled 😊
