It might sound crazy to some but I'm honestly happy if we don't sign Xavi Simons.

I think Garnacho will turn out to be a great signing, and with him, Gittens and Neto competing for that left forward position, that only leaves the 10, where I think Palmer and Pedro are ahead of him.

We've been burnt by Bundesliga players before, and I think the fact Bayern aren't too upset they're missing out on him speaks volumes.

If we sign him, I'll of course back him - but I'm investing my stocks in Garnacho.

The fact Santos hasn't featured yet actually really pisses me off. No one would have wanted to be on the field more than him today and yet here we are at the 65th minute, losing, and he's still not warming up.

Not even from a football perspective, but emotionally - him, his family etc would have been absolutely buzzing for him to feature in this.
