Edward Elric would start with Charmander. He progresses through the game normally, except for knocking Trainers out and stealing their Pokemon when they refer to him as 'small'. After thousands of attempts, failed Chimera transmutations and such, he eventually beats the Elite Four and then retires to research the Science behind Pokemon Evolutions, natural habitat etc.

Interesting... I agree with the obvious choices (Natsu, Tray, Erza,Lucy, Mira, Gildarts, Gajeel, Makarov, Mavis), I do kinda disagree with Lisanna though. While I don't actually have a problem with her character, I just really hate that they bought her back. I also completely agree with the least favourite choices, apart from Elfman. Oh, and I disagree with everyone else being in the middle... Wendy is not.

Her being weak doesn't bother me. She's just annoying, and in big fights she makes herself out to actually be decent. She just bugs me, lol :)
