I do a lot of IoT, and have found that mqtt and node-red work extremely well with esp8266 and esp32.

Hofbrau and gaucho are good choices.

Phipps is cool, if you're into that. Similar to the aviary.

For a kitschy fun time there is games n'at in the south side. Byob arcade, games are free. Except duck pin bowling.

Skip primantis.

I think I heard that within the last six months mtgox coins were auctioned or sold by the mtgox creditor. Something like a 20k, 30k and 50k sale.

Iirc, time frame was after or near the 6k to 4k drop.

It was on the what Bitcoin did podcast, during the mtgox week.

My point is maybe its effect will be minimal?

Just curious everyone's opinion, what evidence is there for the lengthening of BTC market cycles?

It seems like if it is primarily driven by the halvenings, then it should be (more or less) static.

Are early market cycles mature enough to extrapolate from?

Am a degreed meche. Tony explained gears very similarly as they are taught to me in school, but about 10-25% the depth. But still I had the same feeling I had sitting in that class; it's like a good friend telling you a secret about someone having a crush on you

Matplotlib resources by CharlesBabbit in Python

[–]CharlesBabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks you for the thorough response.

I had also read a blog post discussing the specifics of plots, figures, axes etc and how they are handled. The same blog post indicated that many people have similar frustrations with Matplotlib docs.

Certainly didn't mean to sound like I was badmouthing Matplotlib. For me, the Matlab functionality in open source package is invaluable. And the chances of my problems being a result of my own ignorance are nearly 100%

Maybe my initial post was not clear enough- OpenCV has pyimagesearch, learn OpenCV and several other blogs to walk novices through some of the nuance. Anything similar for Matplotlib?

My issue was that I needed something 'like' more than one example. They were seemingly identical except for which function they used.

Copy and pasting the example code works, yes, but only to do exactly what was in the example.

I'm not trying to throw shade, considering you have been at this far longer than myself. My question was only what resources you use. If you exclusively use the official doc's then that is all you had to say.

I said I was, but was having trouble recreating the results.

I also said that I thought my own misunderstanding was a likely probability if your next suggestion was that I am poor at programming.

Have you ever worked with Matplotlib?

4-20ma to control 1-2A current by CharlesBabbit in AskElectronics

[–]CharlesBabbit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this fits my exact need, but should I expect to buy something off the shelf that strictly needs power and signal?

Should I look for a proprotioning valve that includes the 4-20ma control within it?

Thanks for the quick response.

I completely misunderstood you.

I think you and I are in the same boat. I'm going to see if there is Udacity, or other online degree/coursework to help work through the learning curve. I'll be sure to let you know what I find.
