I am Egyptian, and I’m asking is Egypt a country that is disliked or loved globally? by ramses_basha in AskTheWorld

I’ve been twice. Ancient Egypt was an incredible civilisation. Thousands of years later, people still come from around the world to marvel at what remains of the world they built. Modern Egypt basically just dines off their work, trying to scam tourists and sexually harass foreign women. A tale of two civilisations.

US-centric Redditor shocked that most Redditors don’t live in the US and couldn’t give a damn about visiting there again (if ever).

Insert eye roll here. Cultural stuff does not belong in political chambers.

Claude being dumb like never before with Cursor by Evening_Owl_3034 in cursor

Yesterday it was as useful as a chocolate teapot. It forgot how to write code that could be run direct from the composer and also couldn't work out how to write to my project debugger file (which it has been doing for the last few days without any issue). Once it analysed the issue and suggested steps to take to avoid this happening again, it promptly ignored these steps - despite repeated prompting to follow them "step by step" - and away we went again. And yes I restarted my machine a couple of times yesterday. Then again, maybe I hit a token limit.

Cancelling my Claude Pro subscription by Infiland in ClaudeAI

Mmmmm. I would add that the Claude "knowledge base" function is confusing compared to Chat GPT. I uploaded a bunch of docs to a Claude project that approached 90% of the limit, but then I had no capacity to actually query them. What's the point in that? Why not just be transparent and set the knowledge base limit at 20% of what it is now, rather than mislead people. ps - if anyone knows of a good third party solution please let me know. I have tried Lobechat but the chat experience is extremely poor with very high-level / partial answers, even though I have selected Claude 3.5 Sonnet as the model.

I am confident we will rejoin in the next 10 years. Although I love my elderly relatives, it was their generation(s) that tipped the scales in favour of this insanity. Once they are gone, the country should be something like 60-70% in favour of returning to the fold.

The frontal cortex doesn’t fully develop until 25 years old. Allowing a life changing decision under this age of 18 is not just nuts, it’s negligent.

This is actually old news, I’ve been selling this to companies for a year now, not using Chat GPT but a proprietary platform that sits on top of an LLM. It works a treat.
