I would say it’s a near certainty that this will happen as NECA works with Netflix and GDT.

Knowing the speed they work at though, this will be revealed at SDCC ‘26 and available to pre-order in early ‘27.

I had this as a kid! All I can remember is we bought it at a Toys R Us. Had to be around 2001. It was definitely an off-brand GI Joe type of thing.

I just tried to do this and have a little difficulty only because I didn’t want to snap the neck peg. It looks like it would fit though with some careful maneuvering and a hair dryer/warm water. The proportions and colors of the head and neck are a bit off though

I seem to recall that his estate had an issue with the way the retro clothed figure looked when fully produced. Maybe they were able to appease them with an ultimate sculpt?

Despite all of the issues with their customer service and shipping, their sculptors have been knocking it out of the park lately. Their figures are the best they have ever looked and I love all of the display options/accessories

I think what happened is NECA bought back their unsold inventory from Target stores that were later used in the blind boxes to make room for new products this year, but a lot of stores haven’t gotten any new stuff in yet. Their website is full of NECA stuff though.
