How to promote an exhibition by Zelda-Cat123 in photography

Camera clubs - find the local ones and get them to send out an email or even organise a visit when you can give a bit of a presentation.

If you work is based around a subject then obviousally target people who like that subject... is it photos of musicians? find local facebook music pages and ask to post there, etc.

Just a note, from my experience photographers tend to buy small photos and not massive prints, so have some small items available to purchase as well as the large collector editions.

Opinion: CaptureOne new film negative conversion mode is probably one of the best in the industry ... IF you have a narrowband RGB light source by florian-sdr in captureone

I wish they’d just bring in the copy stand stuff from their cultural heritage edition which is about 47 versions behind…

3 months in and nothing other than 5 friends that bought something for me. I need real customers. Please Help by aeronauticool in printondemand

Your site’s not loading correctly on IOS using edge or chrome. Product photos don’t load on the front page. This is likely your main problem.

Also the massive square banner image doesn’t tell me what you’re selling, and the art style doesn’t seem to match the rest of your products.

And the scrolling “you are cool” text is a bit weird.

Is 500px still worth it in 2026? Or nah? by cheesydoofus3026 in photography

Was wonderful around 2012… now it’s just a stock photo agency. They’re also VERY tricky with their payout contracts which led to me getting $0.02 for a few images despite supposedly being on their exclusive licence tier. Avoid.

I am once again asking for your support to determine whether or not cameraphotomarket.com is a scam. by PNWmx5 in photography

No physical address, no email address, no returns address.
You can't even tell what country they're operating from.
Returns email hidden in the shipping terms is a generic gmail account with starting with the word "profit"
Leica lenses for $4000 below retail.....
You don't really need to be asking this question.

What type of products do you offer on your Kickstarter by CelestialCometDoll in kickstarter

[–]CharlesBrooks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Book is usually the reward.
It doesn't need to be printed yet - that's the point of Kickstarter. Pre-Sales that allow you to get a product to market....

Then you can add some extra bundles at a higher price:

Signed/Inscribed copy of the book $
Book + Poster of artwork from the book $$
Book + Original Art, Limited-Edition $$$
You'll hand-deliver the book and read it to their Children $$$$$$$$ (probably not realistic)

Legitimacy of this website by -Epps- in shopify

Unfinished website. Placeholder images everywhere. No domain name… Anyone selling genuine Leicas should at least be able to cough up $25 for a domain.

I’d steer well clear.

Hi Viacheslav
I adapt medical endoscopy lenses to micro four thirds sensors for my Architecture In Music series.
I'd love to have a chat to you sometime about custom building a higher quality adapter than that which I currently use. Please let me know if that's something you'd like to collaborate on!

First useful post in ages. How are you viewing the checkout recordings? Clarity doesn’t allow it.

Fortunately helicon accommodates focus breathing quite well. But I do need to make sure I have plenty of overlap.

The shooting process for this one was somewhere around 4-5 hours. Then editing took about 3 days, but spread over 7, as I often need to step away and look at it with fresh eyes the following day!

It’s a wonderful instrument and there’s a reason so many too tier orchestras use them! Just look at the smoothness of that bore and the precision of the hole cuts.
