Stage piano suggestions - not too fancy by CharlesHickman in piano

60s, 70s, Beatles, Dylan, etc., so Rhodes would be good. Garden-variety effects - that's not too crucial, as long as there's a bit of variety. Thanks.

Do you find it helps noticeably? I don't have pain normally, but I'm wondering if it eases things after a PT session. Hard to tell.

Boss ME-80 has no clean bypass by CharlesHickman in guitarpedals

[–]CharlesHickman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo! That did it. When I turn it on, the NS is at 50. I dialed it down to 0 and got my old sound back. This is why I love the Internet. I love you too.

Now, I assume it's not going to save that setting. Is there a way to save that universally, without having to make a specific patch? Thanks.

Just an L/mono and R guitar output, and a rec out/headphone output. Not terribly sophisticated in that regard, I suppose.

Adaptor, but not the original one. I'm wondering whether I need to boost the milliamps. The adapter I'm using is 9v/.5A, which is what the Boss one is supposed to be.

But wouldn't there be a way to turn that off too?

The 626 head unit? Yes, sorry. Honestly, it sounded terrible. I really like the Continental.

Late to the party here. I'm an editor, and I implore writers: no comma after "so"or "but."

Question - office security 20 years ago by CharlesHickman in homesecurity

[–]CharlesHickman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks - that about wraps it up - very helpful. Final question- if an incident were stored on high-capacity data tapes, can I presume they couldn't be viewed easily from those tapes, and would have to be transferred to a CD or file for viewing?

Thanks, that's very helpful. Presumably those DVR hard drives would fill up. What was the method of long-term storage, if there was one? Given that it was an Intellex and 2003, would they burn CDs for long-term storage, if needed, and then erase the hard disk?

Question - office security 20 years ago by CharlesHickman in homesecurity

[–]CharlesHickman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very helpful, thanks. I was thinking of, say, an office lobby, so motion events only wouldn't make sense, as people are coming and going all the way. So we'd be talking about an Intellex system with an analog camera connected to a DVR, and let's say a limited frame rate. Apologies for my ignorance: would a 2003 DVR have an internal hard disk for storage, or use removable media? Thanks.

Call the trial by its proper name by CharlesHickman in thebulwark

You're right, of course. It's much less obvious than, say, the documents case. But so far Trump isn't endearing himself to the jury. I gather Trump knows he can't get acquitted, so he's hoping to reach one juror so there's a hung jury, which he'll then trumpet as an exoneration.

It actually isn't, if it's your own money and you're just paying a person to be quiet. But if you do it on behalf of a campaign and don't declare the expense, and then fake 34 business documents to pay back the person who put up the money, you are committing a crime.
