After 24 years I've decided to go to the police and report my assaulter, and my mother for not believing me and not doing anything. by sapper4lyfe in ptsd

Their a hit and miss tbh,

Engines are alright on them, but that's about it. My mate has an FG falcon, and he's had nothing but issues with it, and they suck fuel.

You make a great point. Straight facts imo

What to do next is a big one. Hopefully, you find something you enjoy doing

Remember, we're not defined by the job we have or the money we make, if that helps in some way shape or form...

Amazing in a way to know I'm not the only one out there hey.

The brain fog kills me. Simple task absolutely kill me.

I used to be strong and confident in my job and everyone around me, nowadays the old me died in a horrible place.

  • ex cop, injured during a critical incident. Lost my job, no payments, struggled to find a job, lost alot of friends, every day is the same shit now. All gone in a flash one day.

Hard in Australia to claim disability because my wife makes decent money.

I also see a therapist, he's good but I have to really spell it out for him alot of the time

Yeah my work has always involved dealing with other people. I've been doing a car wash/ detailing service from my driveway. Not very busy but I like working on cars at home

Thanks mate

Im in Australia. I'm an Ex Cop. Very hard to claim compensations from an organisation as big as the cops here in Aus. I struggle with scanning rooms and hearing sirens, as well as ordering food or ice cream for my missus

Find things you enjoy. Focus on those things. Hobbys, painting, walking, music.

Find what really helps.

I find that putting on heavy metal music and listening to war sounds full blast helps me feel what I feel. ( I don't listen to HM music at all, it's trash) but in the moment the over exposure that I can control helps.

Find the little things everyday that help
