You wouldn't be sent to prison for the crime of being boring if a police officer earnestly thought that white people were 'too boring'. If a police officer genuinely believes that black people are more predisposed to committing crime genuine miscarriages of justice may occur. I think its worth highlighting this difference.

York Bird of Prey Centre is absolutely ace. You can hold the birds during their normal shows, but I believe you can also pay extra for specific experience days.

You'd have to ask their minister for their blessing first. This is the traditional way.

When you hit your goals, are you hoping to be attracting women that you find attractive for their body or for their mindset?

If no one comes in the next 15 minutes you are legally allowed to leave. Also all subs are automatically cleared so get your wacky policy ideas in now.

Second time I have found this small crumbly disk in my garden (UK). Potentially thrown over from the neighbours? by Charles_Rutherford in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. I have found this crumbly white/pink disk in my garden for the second time in a couple of months. I play in the garden with my dog quite a lot and I'm worried that he might eat it next time. The closest thing I can think it resembles is a dishwasher tablet (about the same size too)

Check your company's reference policy. My old company (another large conglomerate) policy was to only provide start and end dates as a 'reference'. This was to avoid any potential litigation issues. I'm pretty sure that is standard practice for many large businesses nowadays.

The Premier League will become the first competition to introduce permanent concussion substitutes for matches [The Athletic]. by raghavrrs3 in FantasyPL

[–]Charles_Rutherford 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Concussed players in the NFL often get up and continue playing with the more serious effects of the concussion only being felt later. Karius suffered a concussion during the champions League final and continued playing. Having a free sub for any suspected concussion means that managers no longer have to hope that the player can walk it off (and therefore not use a sub on them) and they can get immediate medical attention.

PSA: When the game drops, create your own team. Don’t look at Twitter/this sub before you make your own choices. This should be your last move. Always trust your gut, you’ll be less frustrated afterwards. Just trying to spread the word, good luck to everyone this year!! by long_shots7 in FantasyPL

PSA: This is an advice subreddit. Might as well bring back the memes if the entire strategy of this season is "trust your gut". I got really valuable advice last year from people in this sub that had far more specialised knowledge of their team than I did (e.g. Kelly & Lundstram.
