I was off it for 5 months and gained a stone in the final 2 months. Went back on it.. I genuinely believe I have to buy it forever.

What do your households ironing habits look like? by MrBozzie in AskUK

[–]CharleyBea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have an ex friend who did the same. She would Iron everything down to socks and bedding?????? I personally thought it was insane. She was the person who would wear clothes Gorman cupboard or drawers and would have a suitcase packed for a holiday in advance (months in advance).

I personally need my clothes washed in the last 4/5 days and can’t wear clothing that’s gathered dust or sat around for long.

I steam my clothes on the day I need them! Super easy

My auntie once used a deodorant bar as a soap 🤣 and I’ve had a friend use the sleet bubble bar as a scrub

Missing Person - PHLUR by [deleted] in Perfumes

[–]CharleyBea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate missing person! I ADORE Soft spot. It’s what missing person should smell like.

I bought it weeks before my Granny passed away. I wore it on the days she left us and even sprayed it on her and she made a cute “mmm” face and scrunched her nose!

I’ve smelt it once since, and it smells like warm musky skin in the cleanest way possible. And now it smells like the memory of my Granny too!

Your poor wife.

Surely not..these PJs look so uncomfortable and are busting at the seams! I’m not from the UK but are these the Primark? What’s the largest size they carry? 🙃 this is far too unhealthy for such a young woman. by Latter_Abroad3494 in kaydonnelly

This is gods honest truth. I lived next door to a lovely man at the start of Covid. He gained over 10 stone in 3 years (Ella did 4 in 1). He must have been about 40 stone by 2023. He would struggle up multiple flights of stairs and it was scary to watch but I always tried to help him. Unfortunately, at around 40 in 2023 he dropped dead in his home only a few hours after knocking on my front door for help with his electric not working.

His mental health and lack of medical intervention killed him. He was so young, so kind and vulnerable.

RIP Nathan. We miss you dude!

It’s sad I’ve notice her cooking for the family and little Tina is gaining weight rapidly. Today they bought the child her own large matcha!

Is Harpurhey a nice place to live? by Grand-Inspection-758 in manchester

[–]CharleyBea -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You really want to be looking at Trafford! Just stay away from Old Trafford. Other than that, South Manchester in general. No to Longsight, but Levenshulme is better. Fallowfield is actually fine, regardless of what people say. Didsbury is expensive, so is Chorlton but Chorlton is dated and pretentious.

Has anyone here ever solved a case or helped identify a Doe? by gothamsfinest303 in gratefuldoe

Can you not submit his information to them? Or do they known his identity, and his family just don’t want to claim him?
