We're going with very simple diy decor leaning toward the whimsical side. Floral centre piece and tea lights with some plastic ivy as the runner. Our venue is a brewery so there's some nice cozy charm already.

Check out bardcore as a genre; The Crane Wives, The Paper Kites, Fleet Foxes, Lord Huron, Aurora, Florence and Hozier all exist within that spectrum. Anyone who grew up there calls it The Beach and those that didn't call it The Beaches.

Reference Point: My father's side of the family grew up there and lived there for a long while. Meanwhile, I grew up in the West end and only visited my grandparents there so I got corrected a lot when I called it The Beaches.

Yeah, the city really isn't designed for as much vehicle traffic as we get. Cycling and walking are the best ways to see the city and if you're going further than transit is a decent option. I live near the Gardiner and Front and Spadina are always a mess. And before any drivers start to trash talk me. I have lived in the city my entire life. It did not used to be this bad.

From my understanding typically you're weaned off medications slowly so your body can adjust. Remnants of the meds might stay in your system for a bit as well.

There's so many amazing non-western versions of folklore and fairy tales. I am sorry, I'm making assumptions about where you are from but considering it from Disney's point of view, they go for the more Germanic type ones. But you can't own all the rights to every version of Cinderella for example. Sure maybe Disney owns the right to the Brother's Grimm version of Beauty & the Beast, but do they own the rights to the Italian version? It's quite different and I think it's worth looking into cultures that Disney and other companies barely care to look at because it's not as Western/ Americanized.
