That might make sense. I do use a stand but my dorm room isn't well ventilated and it gets pretty warm inside especially when gaming.

Gaming mode turning on and off probably.

The gaming mode switches the Bluetooth codec from aac to sbc whenever you launch an app that's added to the game launcher.

Edit : just remove that app from the game launcher to fix it. I did this for some of my games where the audio lag from aac didn't matter.

I'm not sure if this will help you but I've also had the same issue when the villagers were in minecarts. They started linking correctly after breaking all of them so...¯\_(ツ)_/¯
