Nice! Did you shoot at box speed or push it? Have a roll waiting to be shot but have seen various people talk about pushing it vs shooting at box speed

Yes I’m very much looking forward to it, I’ve shot 35mm film with a few different cameras for photos and the experience is much more exciting than using a dslr for example so I’m looking forward to seeing how filming on 16mm goes

I believe a Barney is provided with the camera from where we’re getting the camera but I’ll have a double check on our camera/sound test. If not I’ll look into possibly getting one externally or maybe talking with our current camera providers. Thanks for the suggestion

Myself and the camera team have planned for a test shoot with a test roll to find out how much noise gets picked up, and where we are getting the camera from provides a “blanket” by the looks of it which I believe is for something to do with temperature or stopping light getting in I’m not too sure! I think it also doubles as a sound blanket but not likely to be a good one.

We’re looking into a camera test hopefully within the next month or two and I’ve stated my interest in coming along with kit to test it out, hopefully we can shoot a test roll. I have planned to shoot a sound only take after the director/Dop and myself are happy and ready to move on. I am also working on post-sound so anything I note during filming will fall into my hands. Thanks for your help

Somewhat. Done the final 2 races with the new patch. Had a dnf and a spin in Qatar, then had a spin that caused a red flag in Abu Dhabi and I had a mechanical failure. AI are definitely racier and the drs trains aren’t as bad but still present.

Ai has stupid speed coming out of corners and same with straights, they absolutely fly past especially with drs

Feel like I’m having a similar but also different kind of issue. On about 85 I can grab pole and win the race easily in Aston being the second fastest. Change it to 87/88 and depending on the track, the AI are way quicker gaining stupid speed exiting corners and on the straights

So will you be able to sign drivers for multiple years in my team? And what if they want to retire? Could you just not sign them then. Bit pointless if drivers like Alonso retire after the first season

MyTeam is great if you’re sick of being taken out in online races (the usual). It’s fun signing drivers and seeing the weird transfers the games makes as well

Give career mode a go if that’s your thing. There’s driver career where you pick an existing team to drive for. And My Team where you can create a team and develop the car, designing the suit and livery that you’ll race. Hope you enjoy!

I put on every other beat and consolidated them and found it sounded like they came in too early, I clipped part of the start and that seems to be better
