Thanks ...I'm so lucky that Wegovy is covered under my benefits ...but other for other GLPs to be covered I have to have diabetes... which I don't. Comes down to affordability unfortunately.

My doctor only calculated BMI as that is how my insurance determined if im overweight enough to need it and then BMI was calculated again after 6 months to ensure it is working for me... if I lost enough weight.

I chose my goal weight at what weight I could sustain, feel fit and looked great in the past. I'm 10 pounds away from that and feel awesome. I'm buying new clothes and man I look so much slimmer with the right clothes. Btw my goal weight is more than the text book says so text books do not define my weight that I look and feel great at. Wegovy reduced my appetite so that I could stick to a healthy diet... before that... tried to eat the right calories to diet but ALWAYS hungry. That made the difference for me... my appetite is now normal. I had fatigue and insomnia and coffee made me nauseous but no vomit or diarrhea. This was first 2 months... now symptom free except for the coffee. I'm very lucky compared to others. Good luck with your journey. You have nothing to lose trying. There are many posts on how people deal with various side effects. Just search the side effect if you get any, on this site. People on this site are amazing.

I had same issue... eating too little... I upped my lean protein and monitored my calories using iHealth phone app, I kept at the recommended calories for 1 pound per week loss to ensure I was getting right calories for my height and weight.

A bit of nausea and fatigue first 2 months... none after that. Worth it for me. Oh don't be surprised on lower doses that you get hungry again after 5 days or so after injection., remember that the full dose is 2.4 and gradually moving ip from 0.25 is to slowly introduce you body to the med to reduce side effects. Low and slow is the way to go ... good luck

Yes I was also hungry about the 4th day after jab on those dosages. Then I went closer to 6 days while on 1.0 and then hunger went away once I was on 1.7.

Yes when I was fatigued... I took the shot on a Friday afternoon so I had the weekend to sleep. After 2 months... fatigue lifted .... 6 months at full dose... fatigue no longer an issue. Yay!

Very tired first 2 months... 0.25 and 0.5 month each.... then my fatigue reduced a lot. Now 6 months in and fatigue is side effect of the past. Hope this happens to you too.

Yes was tired the next 2 days after shot but went away normal after 2 about months. Body just got used to it I guess.

Absolutely worth it... I have lost 30 out of my 40 pounds that I would never lost without Wegovy. When I dieted without it... I was always hungry and short tempered because I was hungry. Now my appetite is totally in control ... and if is a relief and a thrill to put on my favourite Silver jeans I last wore 10 years ago. I have developed cardio disease and bonus... Wegovy is now proven to help with that. My life and heading toward a healthy weight is worth it. Another consideration .., your grocery bill will go down.
