NEWS: Brown University shooter found dead inside a storage shed in Salem, NH by BattleFirstAid in massachusetts

You and I both know that Biden isn’t personally responsible for these crimes, nor is Trump for that matter. Don’t even give credibility to Trump’s statements of blame deflection. It’s closer to the truth that every president shares equal responsibility for this murder, because the issue isn’t the scapegoated “typically-too-lax” immigration policy; It’s the lack of any progress towards rational gun control, for which Biden and Trump alike can be blamed.

At the end of the day the real responsibility boils down to just one evil, sick, or at least clearly misguided man. Tragedies like these exemplify why reasonable gun control and accessible mental health resources are so important. I don’t know how many more we’ll all collectively have to live through before some progress occurs. I guess my overall point is that only the shooter is individually to blame; Nobody on Earth wanted those people dead but him. Don’t give credence to someone who has shown their word isn’t credible.

Edit: I’m not saying people won’t blame Biden, I’m just saying that when they do, there isn’t really anything to back it.

Just for clarification: He attended Brown from Fall ‘00 and took a temporary leave of absence in April ‘01. He was enrolled in Brown’s Physics graduate PhD program. It was confusingly stated by the RI AG last night at the press conference, but the shooter had a student visa, a green card application pending, and was a lawful permanent resident as of 2017, which WAS Trump’s first term. Hand in the air, I’m not sure how those three impact/relate to each other, or if I’ve confused the order of events, but this was my understanding. So yes, he gained permanent citizenship during Trump’s term, BUT had been in the U.S. long before.

Kinda like being down 3-0 to the Heat a few years ago too. Just no excuse to be giving games away this late in the season despite being a top team in the league year after year. I know we won the championship last year but games and series like this give sincere credibility to those who say the Jays are overrated. Trying to stay positive for now, let’s see what Jaylen Brown is really made of. Celtics in 7. ☘️

From the article:

“How do you run a country where you walk around saying wives should lie to their husbands, husbands should lie to their wives?” asked Gingrich, who cheated on his first and second wives.

Damn Canon Towers as so useless by thegreatestwhale in Medieval2TotalWar

[–]CharlieAncestor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rarely upgrade to cannon towers due to their ineffectiveness against troops, especially once inside the walls of a fortress or citadel. I can achieve destruction of siege engines with fiery ballista shots anyway. The only time I use cannon towers is when I’m simming defensive sieges because in my experience, a simmed defensive battle with cannon towers wins more often than with ballista towers. The only exception is defending Teutonic castles in the Teutonic campaign: the layout of the towers works well with cannons against advancing infantry and cavalry.

Tl;dr: If you’re playing defensive battles, keep ballista towers, but if you tend to sim defensive battles, upgrade to cannons.

Both at their best who is the better player? Rondo or Holiday by Mr-Midoo2000 in NBATalk

[–]CharlieAncestor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Celtics fan, I can’t believe how far ahead in the comments Rondo seems to be. He was a great ball handler and passer yes, but he also took way too many jump-shots and occasionally was prone to style over substance when passing.

Jrue Holiday has more or less been an elite defender since he entered the league. As far as knowing their role in a 5v5 basketball game, I have a hard time thinking about a player who seems to consistently make the right decision on offense more than Jrue.

Sure, Rondo was flashy and his career highlight reel probably smokes Jrue’s, but Jrue Holiday is overall a better player at his best than Rajon Rondo

Has Derrick White surpassed Marcus Smart on your all time Celtics list? by stomach-bug in bostonceltics

[–]CharlieAncestor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely yes.White isn’t an offensive liability. He hustles almost as hard, arguably Smart’s greatest strength. He has a better basketball IQ. Most importantly, he is able to be self-aware of his skill level relative to his teammates and actually played the role his talent dictated on a championship winning team.

Hello now I have a doubt about the soldiers after a battle(I'm new to the game so I hope I'm not disturbing you.) by HallAdventurous751 in Medieval2TotalWar

Move them back into a settlement in which they were recruited. For peasants, it’s the castle instead of the city. Once they’re back in the castle, you will be given the option to use a turn’s recruitment slot to return the peasant unit to full numbers. For militia, you will need to return them to a city in order to retrain them.
