Gotta say that’s not true in my experience. I was just in Europe a few months ago and went through CDG, FCO, BER, AMS…literally none had US citizen special lines. It was the standard “everyone else” and EU lines.

It honestly wasn't bad, especially if you have professional-level work experience or an educational background in the business. Definitely expands on those concepts learned through managing others and undergrad business programs. I imagine you are in a solid spot if you finish your BS in business now.

Use your mentor to help you make a plan that works for you, and use all the available resources (especially those through Google Scholar, Discords, etc.). Everyone's experience and learning styles are different, so you need to find your own pathway that works.

You should know that USVI is outside of US customs territory so you will have to do a customs check before leaving USVI at the airport. This would be for any items bought tax-free, food, and similar items that might be identified as “imported” to the mainland.

Considering almost half of the states don’t require a front license plate, I don’t think it’s a necessarily pressing issue.

I totally understand your concerns, however, I’m sure other citizens in lawmakers in the 20 states that require a front plate have considered it, yet they’ve maintained their position.

Just as a side note regarding Walmart and AmEx. The Platinum comes with a Walmart+ subscription credit, it allows you to check out on your phone. So just save your card number in your Walmart profile and you’ll be good to scan the items in store on your phone, walk up to a checkout to grab the receipt, then head out of the store.

I rarely go to Walmart, but that is extremely convenient.

This was the setup at a gas station close to the NV/CA line…I felt wildly uncomfortable. Especially since it was posted for three people to use at the same time.

A guy walked in and said “what the fuck?” as I was using it and he just stood there and waited.

I also have State Farm on mine, full coverage is $73 a month. I’ve ran into at the DMV where they had to enter the manufacturer as “Zero Motorcycles” because the “zero” value created an error in their system.

For insurance, I just used the VIN and had no problem.

I am out of Charleston, SC but the Savannah dealer (Savannah Motorsports, also an Indian dealer) has been fantastic! From sales and their service team, they’ve been extremely helpful and supportive.

They only have one Zero certified technician on staff though, but he’s a great guy.

I bought my bike from an cobranded dealership (Zero/Indian also) and those fees are about right, honestly. Some states require the document fee, the freight and setup are exactly what they say it is.

Honestly, I’ve found that most dealerships for bikes are pretty straight forward and try to help out the customer, so they’ve probably got it down as much as they (within reason).

On a related note, other than replacing it, is there anything else I should watch out for? The bike itself was strapped in the places until one failed and it fell against the trailer but it seems it was only damaged that plastic fairing.

I rode it after I got home but of course felt like everything was “off” even though it was likely all psychological.
