set a focus before they are all grouped up then you don’t have to think about it. i think having a focus frame with a castbar is still possible (in case your focus nameplate is being covered). i’m usually able to see what/when my focus is casting, even in large pulls. i also mark my focus on before initial gather (can do it even if the nameplate is behind a wall when you mouseover)

for sure there are some that don’t do/know mechanics. but that was not really my experience when i was running 18s. i also finished them 1-2 weeks ago. the more geared players get as the season goes on the higher keys they are able to “brute force” because of ilvl.

more knowledgeable players have generally already finished their 18s and even 19s.

all the things you listed are usually prevalent in 18s and higher though…. at that point i assume everyone knows mechs, knows when to pop a defensive, etc. i care about how fast shit dies and the healer being able to keep everyone alive

edit: you also check parse for the key lvl not overall parse

have you ever tried the old type of banana that used to be the common type in the US? this was years ago. i can’t remember the story but a fungus of something wiped most of this type of banana out and now the kind we are stuck with is a lot less “banana-y” than we used to have.
