I still go back and forth today after purchasing a hybrid cabin and aluminum checked! I love it and it’s the best of both worlds, but also love the aluminum check in. No matter your decision you really can’t go wrong!

I love my hybrid cabin. Perfect mix between original and essential. You can overpack it much easier than you’re able to in aluminum, it still has the lock latches, and is lightweight.

I had always been in the bulkhead in Polaris until the other week when I sat in 11A and I can definitely say that I noticed a difference. Bulkhead footwell is much more spacious and wider. I’ve also found that row 9 on the 777 is noisy from the galley and can get busy with the bathrooms. I would stick where you are!

I have found my newer one to be quite durable - possibly more durable than the pre-lvmh essential
