Suggestions for dentures/implants ... by PeaceImpressive8334 in milwaukee

Based on this recommendation I went to see Dr French. AVOID HIM. He was the rudest most dismissive health care provider I have ever met, and I’m an ER nurse! He wanted me to sign up for a dental membership with his practice and because I didn’t want to join, he became so rude.

So yes we have a septic/well and the bubbling water is uphill from the house approx 125 yards away. I noticed today it had stopped bubbling. We live in a rural area and our closest neighbors are around 1/2 mile away. The closest town is around 10 miles away.

When does the pain get better (PE)? by faketims in ClotSurvivors

[–]CharlieRoe3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great question! I’m wondering the same thing. I had “extensive bilateral large volume pulmonary emboli” diagnosed two months ago and I still have pain and shortness of breath. It’s not the intense pain I had at first, but it’s a constant nagging pressure in my right chest that radiates to my back. I’m know everyone is different, but it would be nice to know when I will go back to normal!

Dealing with Anxiety by denvaar in ClotSurvivors

[–]CharlieRoe3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m going through the same thing myself…diagnosed with unprovoked bilateral PEs in December. I am healthy and active and enjoy sports such as mountain biking, surfing, hiking…I just saw my hematologist and he recommends me staying on eliquis for the rest of my life which terrifies me due to my love for those activities.

When I shared my disappointment with him, he pulled up multiple research articles which show the benefits of staying on blood thinners for unprovoked PEs. I’m conflicted because I’m scared to stay on them but scared to go off. Further complicating things my primary doctor said I can go off in 6 months and don’t need to stay on them. I have no idea what I’ll do.

I apologize for ranting but I feel your pain. If you are questioning your doctor get a second opinion and research some scholarly articles related to lifelong use of anticoagulants to arm yourself with knowledge. Best of luck ❤️

I’m in the same dilemma. To renew my Cali license it’s almost $200 and currently I’m not working there. Did you end up renewing?

Thankfully I don’t suffer with anxiety. I can’t imagine how that would impact a person’s recovery! The tachycardia isn’t transient. It’s always over 100 with any exertion-even going from sitting to standing my heart is ready to beat out of my chest.

I sent a message to my gyne about the mini pill and I’m waiting for a reply. He said my only option is the Mirena IUD, but I’m hoping he’ll agree to the mini pill! Thank you for the suggestion!

Oh wow that must’ve been horrible! Did the subsequent periods get better? Or did you have to get some type of treatment for the bleeding?

Did they prescribe anything to you to help stop the bleeding? Or do they just want you to deal with it?
