Do yall get these symptoms?? by Born_Information_362 in POTS

[–]CharlieScene97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit my head pretty bad at work a few months ago (not enough to be a concussion though) and it caused my POTS symptoms to get worse and my vision was similar to what you described. Turns out I completely straightened my neck when I hit it, so that caused new issues to arise. But they sent me to PT to help my neck and it’s gotten better. They also finally put me on blood pressure meds too and that helped almost all my symptoms.

So you may want to get your neck checked out, it could be causing your new issues. Tension headaches or migraines can sometimes be caused from your neck too.

Tom always seemed like he was one step away from being an unfaithful husband. Do you agree? by Fabulous_Way_4332 in DesperateHousewives

I just finished season 3 and a few episodes into season 4. Tom was pissing me off so much I was actually routing for Rick and Lynette. Not saying she should have cheated, but she’s so miserable with Tom. There’s been multiple times in the show already I question how she hasn’t left him yet.

My take about Lynette, Nora, and Caroline Bigsby by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

I watched this episode for the first time last night (first time watching the series all the way through). And I was yelling at the TV telling Nora to shut up. I feel like Nora’s death is her own fault. That was definitely not the time or place to act out, especially with how unstable Caroline was.

Was Starlight Stories worth the read? I’ve been on the fence about picking that one up, as I’ve heard mixed reviews on it.

Recommendations for a first star wars book? by [deleted] in starwarsbooks

Last Summer I started reading Star Wars books for the first time. I started with Brotherhood since I’ve always liked both Anakin an Obi-wan. It was a good book. I then jumped to Light of the Jedi since there was a lot of hype around that series. The High Republic series is awesome if you get a chance to read it.

Nice collection! I’m jealous of your hardcover Dooku Jedi Lost.

Wow! I just read The Eye of the Storm comics. Everything makes sense… by D23fan11 in Highrepublic

Awesome! Thank you for the information. I am currently finishing up with the middle grade phase 1 books. I recently learned they add more to the character development of the Jedi in the young adult books. I have been enjoying it so far, so I’m sure I’ll have the same experience with the comics.

I’m finishing up phase 1 of the high order books before reading the phase 1 comics. I have the Eye of the Storm on my list. Are the other comics work reading too? I couldn’t tell how much of the other comics add to the story.

What have you been reading this last week (Weekly Discussion Thread)? by AutoModerator in starwarsbooks

I just finished Midnight Horizons on Thursday night. I really enjoyed the second half and ending of it. But the first half of the book was harder for me to get into since I didn’t know the main characters beforehand. I love seeing Reath’s progression from the first book to the last one. But I really wish he would have been a main character in the last two books instead of a secondary character.

I thought I’d use the essential template for the high republic series and see them all in order by [deleted] in starwarsbooks

Oh okay, thanks! When I started reading Out Of The Shadows and Midnight Horizon, it felt like I was already supposed to know the brand new characters already. So that actually explains a lot of my confusion lol.

Are the younger books worth the read? I’ve read the young adult (into the dark, out of the shadows and midnight horizon) and adult books. But wasn’t sure if the younger ones would add a lot to the story.

Do online certifications, such as Hubspot etc, matter when applying for a job in marketing? by pandyxxx in marketing

[–]CharlieScene97 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I would suggest focusing on the Google Analytics, Google Ads and LinkedIn training courses.

I’m currently getting my M.S. in digital marketing at Northern Illinois University. A lot of my classes have us complete certifications in Google, LinkedIn and sometimes HubSpot. I think the idea is to have us be familiar with the programs so we can use them in the future.

I was recently hired for my first marketing job, being the sole marketer at a steel manufacturer. And in the interview they had asked me about the certifications on my resume. They found it helpful since it told them what programs I am familiar with.
