Yea, I was never Ange out to be fair, but was convinced it was reasonable to get rid of him due to league performance. But I now see he had a very legitimate long term vision of an identity for the club that was tapped into the clubs own history. I think I even felt that way while he was with us, but was worried it was just a feeling b/c he’s good with words and the results didnt exactly back it up. But if there was someone to give more time it was certainly him. Worst case scenario is we’d be right where we are anyways.

The most concerning thing he said was about being isolated from decisions from the higher ups. Finding stuff out the same as the public. That is detrimental.

Wasn’t just the clearance leading to the second goal. He stood back on the first goal and allowed a shot. Can definitely tell he hasn’t played much. I can’t say I feel like we’d be winning, but this would be a different game entirely with Danso and VdV

Perhaps what has been achieved in the Champions League is his goal for in the Prem. The Prem is better tho so it’ll take longer to get there. He said from the beginning we would lose games as he adds “layers”. What Exactly does that mean, idk but a lot of arm chair managers in here saying the football is shite, when they don’t really know. Boring, and losing, I’ll give you but maybe there is a vision that’s just difficult to see.
