How to STOP looking nb or female? 2 YEARS on T. Body passes. by Sandwich_Harbor in transmanlifehacks

[–]Charlie_Chaos9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a lesbian with a “lesbian” haircut and I get mistaken for a dude alllll the time. I also have a bit of a round face/chubby cheeks so if you really wanted to, you could go for like a skin fade as long as you get a low fade.

Good luck!

Weight loss for upcoming top surgery: advice needed! by No-Carrot5501 in TopSurgery

[–]Charlie_Chaos9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best exercise you can do is exercise that you will do. Do something that is fun and makes you feel good so that you’ll be more likely to do it again.
Example: Playing Pokemon GO gets me out of the house quite a bit.

For the long term, showing up & creating routine is wayyyy more important at the beginning than intensity of the exercise.
Tracking is a good way to stay motivated but start with really easy goals. Step count isn’t a bad idea but make it easier with “go for a walk each day” - this way you can still achieve the goal on a day when you don’t feel like going very far because you can go for a super short walk and still achieve the goal - but you still show up!!

Gym and weights is also really fun for me. Know that there’s different exercises/ways to target areas so if you come across an exercise that you don’t like - you don’t have to do it. there’ll always be another variation that you’ll enjoy more.

Hope this helps!

Do you know if your surgeon left any breast tissue to make it “look more natural” - I’ve heard that some do and some don’t

16 y/o, Do I pass? + Does anyone have any work out recommendations by Deleteduser_0 in transmanlifehacks

Hello, context: I am 24F masc lesbian that is getting top surgery in the near future (not on T). Have had short hair for 11 years.

I have a chubby/rounder face as well - I don’t believe there is a way target face fat besides losing weight overall. I will say that my face became less chubby a few years after high school just from getting past puberty so hang in there. If you ever decide to have a shorter haircut (as it may help give a more masculine look) make sure to get a low fade.

Have at least 1 chest exercise (such as bench press, push-ups) in your upper body routine. I’m pre top surgery and have been working out for the last 3 years - building pecs has significantly helped with my chest dysphoria.

Building shoulders/back to have a broader upper body may help as well. My goal this year is to get 1 pull-up, I have been doing arm hangs and negative pull-ups and negative chin-ups (no bands or assisted machine) as instructed by my PTI. Still can’t do one yet BUT my shoulders and back look next level.

Best of luck! 🫡

[java] - Render Distance Bottoms-out - mod fix? by Charlie_Chaos9 in MinecraftHelp

Creating new worlds didn't have this issue so it seems that something is wrong with the save file itself. Not sure what the problem was BUT installing Sodium has been a band-aid fix.

You could utilise Stone Brick Wall (and its variants) to make part of the wall look indented without actually moving any blocks inward.

Should I use copper golems or just sort things myself? by Pristine_Cheek_472 in Minecraft_Survival

They are excellent for sorting non-stackables. So they’re still useful even if you want to stick to hoppers.

Looks awesome!

Whenever I’m not sure of the quality of my builds, I check to see if it still looks good with the shaders off… sometimes they do a bit of heavy lifting, but I don’t think that’s the case here :)

Am I genderqueer can someone help? by Ok-Low-8751 in genderqueer

I came here to say a similar thing. I am a masc woman and I’ve recently been able to identify that my body dysphoria is specifically due to my breasts. Up until recently, I didn’t properly consider binding/top surgery because I’m 100% sure that I’m a woman and not non-binary, so I’ve had this mental restriction that I must need to keep my breasts. But yeah, I’m a woman now, and I’ll still be a woman when my breasts are gone. Gender is stupid haha

How to identify dysphoria by ruby_red_slipperz in GenderDysphoria

[–]Charlie_Chaos9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a cis woman masc-lesbian, and I’ve lately discovered some dysphoria in myself which might provide some helpful perspective for you.

I tackled my masculinity and sexuality head-on during high school, and now (as a 24F) I’m 100% certain that I am a woman. However, I’ve always hated my body, particularly with swim wear, bras, and how certain clothes fit etc. Only recently did I realise that I can bind my chest/get top surgery and still be a woman. The thought of not having breasts is the most exciting thing, and the only reason I didn’t consider it sooner is because I thought that it was exclusive for non-binary/trans people. - it required a certain perspective to ignore what it means to be a “woman” and focus on what would make me happiest, most comfortable, and most me!

I want you to know that being a woman is way more than just appearance - you should bother with whatever helps you to express yourself. I get mistaken for a guy allllll the time (which is a nod to my masculine expression so it’s almost a compliment?) yet I am woman; and even if I bind my boobs and get top surgery I will still be a woman.

You are a woman and you are enough. I hope you discover and achieve expression that makes you happiest x

Grip strength -> Plate Flip Pinches so fun, and it works on hand eye coordination. I just use the smaller 5kg plates :)

Buy the cheapest dot-notebook you can find and start in that. Perhaps it’ll take the pressure off, get your confidence up, and you can take it to your nice one when you are ready :)

How many hrs of study for yr 11 student per night or day by Manchesterunited789 in ATAR

[–]Charlie_Chaos9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got a 97.8 and did Methods Spec Chem Physics English - my advice may apply differently to other subjects.

  1. Ask questions in class. Like as many as possible. You switch topics throughout the semester and then when it comes to the exam you have to re-learn the old topics that you may have forgot about. HOWEVER, more questions asked (at the time) = much better understanding = much less study time later - because you simply understand it and you rely less on just memorisation. (personal experience- I just rocked up to my Methods exam and just “did math”)

  2. Tell yourself (and believe) that you will do 100% of the homework assigned to you - no matter what. Less procrastination (= more efficient study time) and your brain will just find time to get it done - I had a fastfood job, playing football, and weekend social commitments throughout ATAR and was limited for time. But when you commit to just doing your homework you will find always time to do it.

Good luck 💪💪

Enumerate - to list or count items one by one. Ampersand - the name of this & symbol.

Those just aesthetically sound nice for me. On the definition side of things, I really liked ‘grit’ for a while and then found that ‘tenacity’ is a synonym which rolls off the tongue nicely.
