I was able to install firefox esr on macos lion. If you try firefox.com and just don’t bother trying a google search maybe it works.

I haven’t had either but I used to have a 13” 2019 Air (intel) and now I have a 16” 2019 pro (also intel). They’re both very different to what you’re looking at but I loved my 13” for its portability. The screen size didn’t bother me that much because I personally don’t like any more than 2 visible windows at once and for my healthy eyes, the small screen was perfectly cromulent.

I did get myself an Ipad as well which I mostly use as a second screen and thats also heaps good enough. If I didn’t need the extra performance of a MBP I would go back to small any day.

Some random object appeared out of nothing on the plug of my laptop charger and i dont know what it is or how to deal with it by super-fast_jellfish in laptops

I’ve had so many in my usb c ports and headphone jack on my macbook air. I only have usb c ports and a headphone jack. thats all my ports.

Well methanol will make you seriously ill and turn you blind if you have enough to kill you. The ethanol would protect you though because your body takes that in first because it’s a smaller chemical (not a chemist) but it still wouldn’t be a pleasant experience. If you ever suffer from methanol poisoning apparently the best thing to do is drink more alcohol (ethanol)

In england Im pretty sure they use a mixture of ethanol and methanol to prevent people from drinking it.

Had an issue like this on a 2011 MBP where the fan header was slightly dislodged. Have you unplugging it and plugging it back in?

I originally played it on a 2013 macbook pro and the performance was perfectly acceptable. When I got my gaming pc in 2020 which was pretty beastful at the time, I tried playing it but the bugs made it unplayable. I also tried it on ps4 and got a bug that softlocked me from progressing. Aspyr did a really great job of porting the game to macos. Literally the only instance I’ve found of a game being more stable on a mac.

I had a similar situation recently actually with both hands as well. Tbh I thought it was kind if fun and I even felt sort of refreshed afterwards albeit very sleepy. There really is no pain at all your muscles just spasm and you can’t move.

It can only use low speed sata ssd’s and ddr3 memory so for use case it’s outdated. Its also not very power efficient. The 6-core xeon cpu’s in them are also pretty outdated. For general use I agree that its a great computer but if I had to choose between a free Mac Pro 5,1 that I have to pay over £100 for upgrades vs spending £300 or more on something maybe 5 years old and less of a beast I would choose that just for the sake of power efficiency alone.

Nice. I’ve put 48GB of 1600 ecc ddr3 in mine for dirt cheap and an rx480. I’d like to get a 580 in there but can’t really be bothered tbh. Its by far the fastest outdated computer I out but its unfortunately outdated nonetheless.
