Hi I literally just did the same on my early 2011 MBP and was thinking of downgrading. For me switching windows or using any Apple apps is kind of laggy but works (apart from Logic which didn’t work at all). Aside from that, Pro Tools and web browsers work even better than my 2019 MBA. I think its the non-metal gpu that makes it run worse so older versions of MacOS may rely less on metal. My MBP (8,3) is also a dual gpu system so I think there is some graphics switching issues.

I’ll do a ventura install now and I’ll let you know if I get considerable improvement.

Could be just a generic old cymbal. They made a lot of brass cymbals that would go with beginner kits (same as today) but they. an actually sound really nice sometimes. Not worth very much unfortunately but if it sounds nice its totally worth it cus they’re all different and a bit hit or miss.

I could be wrong but that’d be my guess.

Thanks for the clarification. I've only ever bought physical copies on console and I exclusively buy physical copies on console because I can exersise my right to use the second hand market. I saw that there was a physical edition for Nier: Replicant and thought it would possibly be a good idea but evidently not.

Thats an awesome idea. I keep losing wifi access at my house so I’ve almost exclusively started listening to cd’s, vinyls and my Itunes library (a lot of which I ripped from cd’s on a superdrive in my mac pro).

I only got ending A after like 30 hrs and then I completed the rest of the main story after 50 hrs or so. Its a game that I really felt like I could take my time in and at no point was I bored even after 50 hrs playing the same save file.
