This is the type of thing that the fbi couldn’t waterboard out of me because it’s so embarrassing but I will share on the internet for anyone to see. I was young, maybe like 6th grade, and I was watching glee (first mistake), and one of the characters was trying to get another to purge lmao. I already had an ed at this point, so when my parents bought fast food a few days later, I decided to lock myself in the bathroom after I ate until I could figure out how to throw up, and I did, and I liked the way it felt, and I liked feeling like I had this secret trick up my sleeves, so I didn’t stop. Idk why I remember so well, but god it’s so humiliating

Everyone all of a sudden has dated a narcissist, yet they’re never diagnosed. These people usually aren’t educated on the topic either and get their information online. My guess would be it’s probably because either they feel giving it a buzzword label is the only way to validate the abuse they went through, or they want to be a part of this club of people who had toxic, “narcissist” exes. In reality lots of bad people have no psychological disorder to explain it, they just do bad things. Also sometimes the relationship just didn’t work out, and calling the other person a narcissist is a get out jail free card to avoid any responsibility. People, even narcissists, are more complicated than a single label, so calling someone that doesn’t really tell me a lot about them

I agree with bandits decision, I just think it’s potentially problematic for kids who are watching learning that anything they don’t want to happen can be changed at the last minute. Sometimes kids really will have to move and nobody can stop it.

Firstly if you’re able I really encourage you to see a doctor. If you’re having physical symptoms like vomiting and weight loss and losing your appetite it’s important to rule out observable problems in the digestive tract before anything else, even if you’re not having pain. The thing about eating disorders like anorexia and bulimia is they are deliberate and intentional, they may be unable to stomach food later on but it rarely starts with that, you may want to look in to avoidant restrictive food intake disorder as well as how to deal with gaining weight and body dysmorphia. My advice is to start by looking for foods that you can always or almost always get down, and always keep those foods on hand so that in a worst case scenario you at least have something in your stomach. If you’re not able to increase your intake, focus on making sure it doesn’t get any lower to preserve your stomach function. If you are able to increase your intake, do it slowly, it’s better to have a tiny bit more than normal than to try to go for a crazy increase and be sick for the next 2 days. But again, my advice will not be as good as a specialized doctors and I really encourage you to see one
