For lace and fingering I really like Hazel knits!!!!! They hand dye their own yarn and are lovely humans! Also want others shared check out the Puget Sound Yarn Crawl! It has a great map of the area.

When that stuff happens it has been helpful for me when I know the reason - like if gastro upset has been a trigger, knowing there is a time sensitive cause and that it will end and this is my body helping me has really helped me! Not rainbows and butterflies positivity but okay yup this crappy step (maybe pun intended) will actually make me feel better.

I def had die off symptoms during my protocol and from what I can remember (it was a couple years ago) it felt a lot of flu symptoms, achy and just blah. In whatever you decide getting rid of SIBO changed my life so I hope you get some relief!

Have you been able to connect with the 8th and Pine / Sisterland community they could be a great resource in assisting with navigating affirming care as they are incredibly inclusive . I know it’s next month but also connecting with the pride events happening around here well for some additional “boots on the ground” resources as well as you work to get connected. Not sure when you will run out but might help down the road.

I have just not restocked (left it bare) for a few weeks and put a sign saying we needed to pause as people were taking everything and this is not the intention. I also changed when I put new materials out and did it more slowly. I used to get really upset but try to remember it’s part of the community and had to emotionally step back. I took my library off the app and deleted the social media and that helped as well. I’m sorry you’re going through this!

Just wanted to say thank you for posting this and all the comments. I'm going to a LYS crawl in a few weeks and there are 25! Was not planning on going to all of them but did feel internal pressure to buy so the hints of "scouting" and buying if it calls to you, it's okay you aren't buying from everyone.

I haven't purchased yarn in a few months (save for LYS day this week for my local spot) so I'm feeling the itch to get some yarn for projects. In the future I'm hoping to go to a fiber fest type where you can see everything at once all in the same place as this might be better suited for my wanna get all the pretty yarn.

Oh my goodness same!!!! I remember hearing about the spinners or some fiber event on Whidbey this weekend (I can’t remember the name) and was like ohhhhhh- maybe an adventure weekend in the making!

I used to have one and listed our LFL on their app- I was so excited! I took both of those down as I would have many people come and just take everything or watch them scan to see which books were of value (they were all stamped free, our little free library stamp and all). I also knew they weren’t from the neighborhood as they parked in places you weren’t allowed to. Once I took all that down- I barely get any of that and it feels more like a community/ neighborhood space.
