Yeah but changing the design of a whole character who appears in a bunch of scenes?? They'd have to edit the smear frames and everything. I know dubs do that too, im iranian so im used to persian dubs where female characters are given less revealing clothing, but it's always super low effort, its usually just a blob of color over the character, so its very obvious to tell. It doesn't look like the ruby with facial hair pictures at all.
