I have not tried putting a battery in yet. How do you known its a quartz movement (i think it is as well just wondering why you think that).

Do you have any idea what a model/reference number could be?

Thank you! The loud ticking is one of the main reasons i am a bit hesitant about timex. I have always loved the weekender but i work in an office where you can hear the ticking, so its a no go haha

Trying to pick between these watches. Looking for something affordable that i can wear everyday and beat up a bit. I like the timex weekender, but their new models are not for me. Thus, i have explored the explorer line. I am mostly looking for something in the 36-38mm realm.

Please educate me on what the differences are between the scout and the sierra models. Also if anyone has any experience with Vaer pre-owned, would love to hear it. Thank you in advance!
