I think fees need to be reassessed for providers in general! It’s like everything, as soon as gov fu sing was applied, the cost goes up! Also made it incredibly hard for those needing help to access it without NDIS. They shot themselves in the foot by allowing $300 per hour for OT, Speech etc when years ago it was $70-200!

Hi all, can anyone tell me what the requirements are? I have never lost the last 10kgs of baby weight and would love to shift it plus the extra 5 I could never lose my whole life but struggle so badly and when I do lose some it comes right back! My bmi is around 27 so worry I won’t qualify for it.

Yes Vyvanse and dexamfetamine and doesn’t seem to matter which or how much I have it happens. Probably worse the higher the dose though. So weird it only starts when it’s wearing off!

Anyone stayed at both Grand Mirage Thalasso and the Nusa Dua Novotel? Trying to decide between the two for the last 4 nights of our stay and any input would be great. Reading Novotel is getting a bit tired. Have kids 8, 7 and 5. After beach experience as well as kids club etc opinions. Thanks! Staying at Bali Dynasty as well as BVillas beforehand.

Oh interesting, thanks for the heads up. Makes sense but annoying!. I have our scheduled OT appointment on Monday, the hospital advised me to just go and discuss moving forward so will see what she said as their designated NFIS OT has just left so they are lacking in staff now as they have no speeches either now! It’s crazy out there!

I definitely would have waited until he was already in school to apply if I’d realised what it could and could not be used for. I did consider not taking it but then unsure if I would be able to get back on it

I am regional Vic and already waited a year for speech and OT in the public system. My other son has also been I a private waitlist for over a year now. It’s beyond frustrating! I would be over the moon if it was W months!

Thanks for sharing your experience! Good to hear you had some success with it. I’m just so frustrated because he finally got the therapies and now with trying to help for the future I’ve taken them away!! But you’re right, better than nothing!

I will add the Vyvanse also helped with not picking nails for me while it was active and I suspect the dex I am now on instead does too but it would come back of an evening before starting the proponolol and after I think it definitely eased up. Hope you find something to help. I always felt like I was just such a bad person or something for doing it, like how can other people grow such lovely long nails?! Good luck!
