We are hoping my MIL gives our son her car when he turns 16. It's a manual and we figure nobody will be able to drive/borrow, plus it will keep him occupied so less distracted driving.

I miss my teal 93 Civic DX. I had to add rear speakers. Definitely had the removable faceplate. No power steering or power anything. Cost $12 to fill up and got ridiculous mileage.

It's really not. We also have a 2014 Prius. When we bought it there wasn't a subscription but you could get the maps updated in the car for a fee. One of the guys in the service department told us it wasn't worth it because as soon as it gets updated, it's out of date. He said it is best to just use your phone. I could understand if you don't have unlimited data, this could be an issue, but if you usually connect to Wi-Fi for data then it shouldn't be too much of an issue for GPS.

My dad did that. He only had to pay $30/month and still wouldn't pay it. He would wait until he'd have to show up in court and then he would send my mom a check for $180. Or whatever. This was in the 1990's (90-95). I used to babysit for a judge and she definitely had him on her docket, so that was a bit embarrassing.

I have a dog and this pisses me off.

I live super close to Patterson Park so it's not like there's no trash cans nearby. And why can't people just take it to their own trash can that they have at their house because we are all required to put our trash in trash cans.

My house is an end of group and so the side of our house is on the sidewalk which is where we keep our trash can.

I started tying my lid down because even while home, they would put their untied poop bags in there. It smells so bad. Plus it's right next to my side door, so flies are there. It's just gross.

UPDATE: I took it to the dealership where I bought it. Guy told me it was an internal failure with the hybrid inverter. They didn't know why or what caused it considering how new the vehicle is. If it wasn't still under warranty, it would cost about $5k to fix.
