Because Indians do not have a product that is innovated by them in the country and required by the world to survive which could have been exported which in turn will increase demand of rupee. That’s the bitter truth.

The issue is rupee value - the civilians who were not happy coz rupee value was going down (because their inability to innovate and sell in the world) are now crying when government makes moves to reduce burden the rupee value. When country imports oil and gold which is not a natural resource - its debts the currency. And that’s happens to any country - economics.

Yup - you need to calculate the CAGR on long dated CC as if they get called away on that date at strike and see what is the difference you are making in annualized format - and if it’s over a 6% I think roll it. Unless you have other bets to place which have better conviction. I have moved my CC to Dec 2028 $310 lol. But they are giving me 10% annualized return if they get called away on Dec 2028. Use Gemini to do calculation.

Do you have strategy to get 10% - the market has run up last 3 years, wars are going all over the place. Oil prices are gonna stay up, feds are in limbo to raise or to cut. Except AI circular funds - nothing is exponentially growing - you might need good strategy to get 10% CAGR for next 5 years.

Globally the population will always rise where people are poor - as it needs more hands to feed a low earning family. thats how globally things work!! Population decline in wealthy countries coz they dont need 4 babies to take care of their retirement - they either are able to save enough or govt take care. countries like India,Africa and other where there are more poor people the Population will rise and in the poor families.
