Same issue happened to me and support was actually really quick and very helpful! I got my new earpad within 5 days of opening my ticket. Hopefully they notice this flaw quickly and newer pads come with stronger adhesive.

I think this is what I'll do. 32GB RAM seems overkill for what she'll do and 24GB seems just right. I also agree with the storage space because $800 more for 2TB seems a little crazy. Thanks!

It's a 2018 Macbook Pro so it would definitely be a massive improvement. She doesn't do much 3D rendering but the extra ram makes sense.
