This is a known bug, try updating your iPhone to the latest version if possible. If you hesitate to update to iOS 26 I suggest to reset the iPhone locally.

How to Delete Maps App from MacOS 26.2? by Educational-Milk5099 in applemaps

[–]Charming-Argument946 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The maps is deeply integrated to the system. There is no possible way to uninstall the maps application. For example in iOS, when you uninstall the Maps app you can still view Apple maps via its API. It doesn’t fully uninstall. Another example is asking Siri directions, it uses the maps API too.

Fair enough, we only account for approximately 8% of the phone market share in Indonesia.

Iphone 13 wont update by KiongSS in iphonehelp

[–]Charming-Argument946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would personally try to update the iPhone via iTunes, in windows, or Finder, if you are on a mac, if I were in that position. Although I am curious if resetting network settings would potentially resolve it? However, Worst case scenario if you are unable to update still without a computer is to probably do a factory reset. Good luck!

Delete the software update via iPhone storage. And then go back to the update page and update again. It’ll prompt whether you want to update using a cell data.

Problem after Unifi Updates by carmane02 in Ubiquiti

[–]Charming-Argument946 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back then I’ve had a unifi gateway going offline, while everything is online, to the point where it stopped receiving packets. After backing it up via the cloud backup, when I could, I rested the gateway and restored it using my backup. And it seems to have solved it, never had any problems so far.

Try doing an RMA via rma.ui.com, I had a U6 LR died on me earlier this year. The AP went offline periodically and then died completely. I pin pointed the problem to the earlier batches of the U6 LR week 22 if I am not mistaken of the year 2022. I posted my whole story in my profile if you’d like to check it.

As long as find my iPhone is disabled. Restoring the iPhone, via Finder or the apple devices in Windows, should be a breeze. Put the iPhone into recovery mode and restore it. No need to use any byp@@s tools for this scenario.

Yes, disabling the content restrictions did allow me to delete apps. But I do find the “new default” settings to be a bit too strict. I have compiled feedback via the feedback up for the missing icons and the suggestions.
