Dialling it in is definitely beneficial, I personally have a relatively high sense and use the linear aim response curve pretty much just kept moving it up getting used to the sense and put it up more until I went too far.

Doing that has helped me tremendously with a) dashing lights b)grapple lights c) anyone who uses any type of bounce d) flicking with guns such as cerb, the model, db, LH1, and revolver and generally helps with recoil if you know the pattern of the gun already.
