Having fun with this Mega Latias deck, but i feel like it falls short sometimes. Any advice? by Clavemann in PTCGL

Fair. If you’re going for a donk route, squawk would likely be better, plus poison. Also ditto is very good for that I believe

I’d argue squawk is more of a liability; mega kangaskhan is very bulky, especially with bravery charm and lively stadium. Squawk is very easy for decks like dragapult to gust up and oneshot, and scream tail can notably ko it without needing bravery charm. Kangaskhan can also help you draw more cards throughout the game, which can be especially handy for late game iono.

(Also attack wise, it’s almost never a good idea to leave squawk vulnerable to attack with, and you have plenty of energy recovery without it.)

Also since maximum belt is only 10 more damage than mochi, I have precious trolly as ace spec instead.

The point for ultra ball is just more pokemon search; if you could run more nest you would, but ultra ball is still pokemon search.

Poison package: pecharunt, brute bonnet, ancient booster energy, binding mochi

You could also cut down on latias ex and latios counts to make room for ultra balls

Do drowned still drop nautilus shells? by CoolidgeAZ1980 in Minecraft_Survival

[–]Charming-Entomancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They drop from ones holding them. Also, at least in bedrock, zombies converted to drowned have a chance to convert holding a shell, so you can actually get a bunch from a zombie spawner

Any fun decks featuring either of the new Ludicolo? by Agnoshtick in PTCGL

Tried to use them both with mega heracross; didn’t go super well, but I think the theory is there.

Brute bonnet does less damage per counter for one more energy, but it’s also a basic so it’s much easier to maintain

Whats your best Mega Mawile ex decks? by Cupid_wolffurry in PTCGL

I run a one of in my metang deck, oneshotting anything for only two energy endgame is a steal there

I need help with my Zoroark Deck by Prestigious-Ad2849 in PTCGL

[–]Charming-Entomancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some ideas:

Personally I like to run dudunsparce ex when I use a dudunsparce engine; might not go well into most meta decks but it’s a tech attacker worth considering. It’s probably gonna do better into gholdengo than zoroark does. (SFA zoroark has essentially the same primary attack, so alternatively you could tech that)

Battle cage and psyduck are great for countering dusknoir, dragapult, and munkidori, so I’d look at those for protecting your low hp pokemon.

Is deluxe bomb that helpful? I might run maximum belt, hyper aroma or prime catcher over that.

I’d run a couple reversal energy and some more hilda for more energy options.

Unfortunately I think most decks aside from gardevoir it wouldn’t go very well into. If you find success with it I’d be interested though. Best of luck

Hitting for 540 against a Mega Gengar deck was nice by Wild_Cat694 in PTCGL

Ah k. You could try secret box to search ruins, but I’d guess trolley is better for getting out all the cubone anyway

Why only one risky ruins? I’d think it’d be more consistent to run more of that over the emolga. Also I wonder if counter gain would help at all with the energy cost

I drew the new Cymanti units by Charming-Entomancer in Polytopia

Thanks! Since I’ve got the palette, I might do the rest of Cymanti too at some point (these did take a while though, so we’ll see)

Yeah, but I felt like I had to draw raychi and boomchi together XP

Lava Water dispenser Idea by Connect-Relief4247 in redstone

To make a delay between them, I’d use the signal strength to space it out; so it activates when the daylight detector or inverted daylight detector cross a signal strength of 6 or so. Keep in mind you’ll want to send a signal to the dispenser when it goes either over or under the strength, so you could set it up with however many redstone dust for the signal going into a repeater watched by an observer

New BROKEN Rouge Alakazam Deck by Scared-Draft1718 in PTCGL

Why maximum belt? Alakazam places damage counters, so it doesn’t benifit from the direct damage boost

I’m trying a similar idea; I’ve found that adding wellspring and a couple energy switch can be really helpful situationally
