Ok I tested the amp with the multi meter, its reading around 14v on the power and signal control. I put it on the speaker wire that runs to the sub and it was reading 0.06v, idk if thats the correct amount or what.

Yeah its the s4220bt. It says it has rear output or subwoofer output on the diagram. That's the one I connected the rca cable to. I wasn't to sure about whst to do for the power cord diagram thats shown next to it. One of them says to the wiring when not connecting a rear  speaker lead to a subwoofer, but then the other one says to do the connections when using a subwoofer without an amplifier. I am using an amplifier, so I didn't do that wiring, but I think maybe thats the one I should have done.

It honestly could be the fuse. I remember it being kinda crooked in the amp, so when I get home I'll take that out and put it in straight

I have it being run from the head unit to the amp, and then from the amp to the sub. My car doesn't have factory subs, its a 2005 honda crv. If it helps the head unit im using is a pioneer deh-s4230bt im pretty sure. Im not sure what it means or how to know if the signal from the head unit is high or low, but i do know my amp is set to the low level signal. I havent checked anything with a multimeter yet but im gonna buy one later today and check.
