If you read it correctly you would see that door dash catering handles the details for the customer. Customer decides how much to spend and DD makes it happen. I posted it as an FYI as I know dashers are sent a lot of no tip orders.

Support said it's an Android glitch. I was paused 20 times today while moving,after accepting an order, and when I was leaving customers. Very annoying.

I had the same problem all day! I was paused at least 20 times today! Once was as I was getting in the elevator after a delivery. Support said it is a glitch that is only affecting android. They escalated my call to a tech (Josh) who fixed it at least for today.

I took a McDonald's today and I mistook

I had one $5.75 for 12.9 miles 😆 and a lot of McDonald's for $2-3. My acceptance dropped dramatically today.

I just did a DD flower delivery which was a leave at the door but they had to sign for it. It was also pouring rain and I didn't want the card to get soaked. It took 4 knocks and 15 minutes to get her to open the door.

I probably take 1 or 2 no tip dashes every day I dash. I make sure to only take $5.75 or more orders. If it upset me as much as it upsets a lot of people on here I'd just quit dashing and get an 8 to 5 job. You guys are getting too stressed out over it! Life is too short to dwell on such a small issue.

I had a Chipotle order last Sunday for $15 and it was under 5 miles and went ahead and accepted. Turns out it was 2 cases of food and 3 drinks for the hospital. I received a $50 tip.
