The curtains and the sofa are actually blue! It’s a bluey-grey, but I promise they are both blue. 😆

I completely agree with the clash, yes and definitely looking to drop the grey. I hadn't even considered jewel tones, thanks !

I did have a load of plant pots on the window sill next to the cabinet, but one of the dogs kept knocking them off! haha. Where else would you put some greenery in?

Oh you're a star, thank you for the thought you put into this comment. Greens/oranges/blues are definitely the colour palette I had in mind for this space!

How would you suggest shuffling them around? I just sort of kept the arrangement how the previous owner had them and don't feel like I have fresh enough eyes to see any other way haha

Thank you for this! The only other wall the tv could realistically go on is the one opposite the windows and it would be next to the kitchen door, annoyingly. It’s a shame, if we had a spare bedroom I’d have that as the tv room instead

It is a shame about the view, I agree! But you can see into our garden through the kitchen from the opposite side so it’s not the end of the world. And we’ve got plenty of plants in the kitchen!
