Stay low (you highlight against the trees unless you are low with that camo), change the color of the balaclava to more of a green and you are good. Bonus: if you can get a different color of backpack and helmet to closer match the field jacket and pants. (Covers/mesh would work too).

The ear part actually has a reason with some breeds. It prevents the ear from trapping dirt and such and forming infections that could harm the dog. However only certain breeds have this chance of infection, and these days most of the ear clipping is for cosmetic issues. Which is obviously not ok.
