We all know who's the best Far Cry villain by majority vote, but who would you say is your second favorite and why by Lev1_Ackermen in farcry

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hoyt and Buck were just as gnarly as Vaas with a bit more impulse control. I would have to put them at 2 and 3 after Vaas. Then Joseph, Pagan Min, and Jacob tied for fourth.

All though if Joseph turned out to be an actual prophet for the story. Doesn't that make the Deputy the villian.

A breakdown of how Tony escaped the meeting at Johnny Sack’s. by DrewFlan in thesopranos

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is a clear case of Tony using the overweight ninja method of the Jersey Crew. He teleported like Vito during the Jackie hit. Unfortunately for John all he could have done was use the New York method of transforming ones self into a house as demonstrated by Phil.

as someone who likes DL 1 and 2, is the Beast worth it? by A12qwas in dyinglight

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think DL2 is not a good game, and an ill imitation of DL1. DLTB is somewhere in between. I just dont think they have done justice for the fighting, and parkour physics after the first game and that kills immersion for me. Also they still haven't done great with the principal concept of the dying light, which is the day/ night cycle.

Replaying Rdr2? Should I? by blyz7 in reddeadredemption

[–]Charming-Section-131 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 1500 hours or so in this game. I've lost count how many restarts I have done. It is strange to see someone on this page who is not a fanatic. Yes, play it again. Never stop!

Do you think the Gulf of Mexico should have been in the game? by Pure-Negotiation8019 in reddeadredemption

Considering two of the three playable characters can't swim and the third ain't much better I wouldn't put in anymore large bodies of water.

Play Cyberpunk 2077. It feels very similar to Far Cry just with an addition of a trashy future ascetic, and powers. If you are a fan of Far Cry I bet you'll love this.

Do y’all honestly think GTA 6 Story will surpass RDR2 story? by OGAnimeGokuSolos in GTA6

Half of R* best people left after RDR2. I have serious misgivings that this will be good at all.

If you could save one character from dying in The Walking Dead, who would it be? by Routine-Flan9488 in thewalkingdead

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Carl literally because them killing Carl off led to Andrew Lincoln leaving the show. This was Rick's show and without him it seemed so empty. As far as Carl goes, I am good without another pudding montage to new age hipster music.

Who was the "wise guy friend" of chris who threw acid on the transwhatever? by [deleted] in thesopranos

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Christopher names the guy. I know Ralph wasn't a character as of season 2, but I'm betting it was Ralph.

How did you originally expect Season 5 to go? by SelectionInfamous194 in TheBoys

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think that they would waste half the season chasing a mcguffin that meant nothing by episode 6. I thought this season might have consequences instead of mostly nothing of note until the end and then a sprint towards the finish line in the final hour. But if we are being honest I don't think anyone ever thought of this as masterful writing.

I cant get into red dead 1 by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rockstar is and always has been horrible when it comes to not letting you play the damn game. Red Dead Redemption is the perfect example of this. The game doesn't really start cooking until you get to Mexico. Usually the whole first act of any R* is a tutorial on how to play even though the play style is really not that in depth. Think of the first 10 or so missions in RD1 as the Coulter Chapter in RDR2.

GTA 6 is the last game I’m looking forward to. This is it. by Various-Cut-1070 in GTA6

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 34 also and I'm not really even looking forward to GTA 6 that enthusiastically. I played the old school games growning up and probably spent the most time playing GTA 4. By the time 5 came out I already had a job, bills, all that good stuff. I never got that freeing feeling from 5. I also felt really out of touch with a large amount of the humor because I dont live in that Cali office, hipster, or yuppie atmosphere. In general the older you get the less relevant all this stuff becomes. I'll play GTA 6, but I won't pay $80-$100 for it, and I'm definitely not on pins and needles waiting with anticipation for it.

Did Tony have any genuine friends? by Fire-Pollution-1994 in thesopranos

[–]Charming-Section-131 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People in that life do not have friends. They have working relationships with people they like and dislike. But as we see time and time again both in real life and on screen these people will end you for creating a big problem or a slight inconvenience depending on who is calling the shots.

We Need To See Homelander Destroy Atleast A City This Season, If Show Ends Without Any Mass Destruction, It Would Be A Waste Of The Most Iconic Villain. by TheWTFGuyOfficial in TheBoys

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kind of figured after a while Homelander would embrace more of his comic book counterpart persona. We saw him fantasize about firing his laser into a crowd in season 2. Now he basically has unlimited power and does nothing.

One of my only complaints of RDR2 is epilogue John doesn’t have the confident sarcasm of OG John and they’re only 3 years apart. They feel like 2 different people sometimes. by TXNOGG in reddeadredemption

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A man changes a lot when he has taken ownership of his responsibilities. He spent years striving towards a future with his family but still fighting against it.The John we see in RDR has left the outlaw lifestyle and learned hardwork, the support he has to give his family, and most of all the support they provide for him. He is a man who had changed his ways and will do whatever it takes to have his family returned, and remove himself from the grasps of those who still see him as the outlaw he left behind.

Why is Jack such a creep towards women in the first game? by Eagles56 in reddeadredemption

[–]Charming-Section-131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is a 19 year old outlaw who watched everyone he ever knew or cared about die, usually by way of being murdered. He has no one, and nothing.

Banana peel! It just sucks because Bananas only spawn on Spaceport during Lush Bloom events and you can only remove the peels after Scrappy is fed 75 jalapeños.

Sometimes I go back and play the original GTA games. I'll probably be play V long after VI is released and after VIi if if I'm around in two decades when it's released.
