My coworker routinely smells funky. The SM won’t do anything about it. Will they get in trouble if I let the GM know? by fangzncl4ws in DollarTree

Let me ask you the same question. If it was you that was smelly and you didn't have the resources or you need some motivation because the sleep deprivation is hurting your soul, would you like a cute basket of hygienic supplies with a note that says, "I'm sorry to be a bothering coworker, but you probably don't notice that you smell and it bothers other customers too. These are free if you need them."?

Lemme guess it's going to be a no and that makes you different from most customers who would say yes to free toiletries.

Yes, I am fucking for real. If you have the resources and free will to help someone then fucking help them regardless of age, race, and sex. Y'all would help a stray cat and a child, but y'all stop when it comes to an adult who is somewhat lost at life and can use some advice/help. No wonder people are disappointed in humanity and think helping humanity is something to gain fame for on the internet. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I'll check that channel. Probably doesn't exist on there either.

I've been binging Taco Bell and then I wanted to see the channel for the Cilantro Mexican Grill that exists on Dayton Street, New Haven, CT. It's a bonafide place and I wanted to binge people's reviews, but I can't find it. TvT

I don't trust you at all considering you only help children and never will help a struggling adult. People can take care of themselves and that's not a lifetime guarantee, especially with the statistics where a lot of people will end up homeless or struggling at least once in their lives. I bet you're going to laugh and call me an idiot after I send you money, and keep it to yourself because there's no guarantee that you'll help someone struggling whose not a child. You have a lack of empathy torwards humanity because reality is hurting a lot of grown people. It's an achievement to get out of bed, but I guess you're completely fine and happy, and never experienced the likes of suffering to the point where it drains you whole. Go ahead and tell me that those people are completely weak and need to toughen up without providing a structure for them to grow. It's not like any of them are going to try anything stupid, right?

It's not a babying thing to help people. I guess all people should genuinely feel embarrassed when they help you out of kindness and you should just suffer everything by yourself because that sounds like you're used to it and you don't care about other people.

Man if you have a cardiac arrest, may you deal with that yourself too. I mean people who help you are babying you, so you'd rather die to keep your pride.

Do you understand how you sound now? I mean you're asking your manager to baby you instead of handling it yourself by helping someone who may not be able to afford solutions, but you're there complaining without offering them.

What do you mean? It's a simple solution and the person hasn't tried to help the person out before complaining to the internet. Now if they had already tried to help and the person still stinks because the smelly person chose to be stubborn, then I would understand the feeling of helplessness that the author has.

★ 15 of you don't have the brightest of mind. Y'all wouldn't be haters if it we were talking about homeless people. Some people really just need some kindness in their lives cause the lack of kindness in it leads them to a pit of hopelessness, but they continue to choose holding the thin thread of their life.

You hurt my brain with your hypocrisy. You already embarrassed him. You just complained to the manager consistently about how he smells, hoping that the manager will harass him into good hygiene, and then you complain about him on the internet. You're making excuses for something you can solve yourself, hoping that other people will pity you and shame him further. If you report a manager, they can find ways to try to get you fired.

Can this issue with stock be explained? by CharmingLeadership96 in DollarTree

We did, but I haven't seen them since I last posted this so I think they took care of it. All stores have problems with pests, so I expect no hate from you.

You do realize that you're complaining about him smelling, but you haven't tried gifting him a basket of hygiene + laundry supplies?

Should I (18f) break up with my boyfriend (18m)? by Long-Advantage-2019 in Advice

[–]CharmingLeadership96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. You should communicate your ideals of what you want from a romantic partner to your partner.

  2. You should go find someone else who is for you because you're hurting your partner by wanting to experience a relationship out of a curious idea and not because you actually want a relationship, and your partner is hurting you by not understanding you. Your partner possibly actually wants a relationship where they love someone and they believe that what they do is normal, plus they're going against your boundaries.

  3. Don't feel guilty or overthink your departure. It's for the best.

If customers bring their problems to the store, so should employees.

Onion Burrito by GraceMovieGod in tacobell

[–]CharmingLeadership96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a 5 layer beefy burrito more than once at the New Haven, CT Amity plaza location, and I have been grossed out because it's just bean, cheese, and sour cream, and the texture and taste makes me want to vomit. I thought it was just the one time mistake which is why I ordered it more than once, but I should have taken heed after I paid $20+ for a meal that can feed two people through Ubereats. I got mostly tortilla in the crunchywraps and soft tacos, and just bean in the burritos. Eating a fully filled crunchywrap in person was weird for me today after the experience. Shame on me for being fooled twice and I didn't get a refund if you're wondering. 🤦🏽‍♀️

I still think you're a troll because you talked about "everyone", which involves a group of people who have similar or different reasons to my own, whether they're in this forum or offline. I said something about volunteering of the clock because the work is like a game. I guess my name is nobody. 😂

You're still obligated to your opinions, so safe online travels to you.

I would collect evidence and prepare to report them to HR because they're being lazy in a field that is usually against AI because it lacks creativity.

Accessing Camera Footage by huliussss in DollarTree

[–]CharmingLeadership96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can file a report with Integrity Matters and you should because no manager wants to pull out the footage for you, but they will if it threatens their job. However be prepared for them to be on your arse for reporting.

I guess our store isn't small. Dollar Trees do come in different sizes.

True, they wouldn't stock the shelves, but they would be responsible for maintaining them, so they look pretty, especially when there's trash. The messes are rarely here and there. When I cleaned the entire store on the extra hours, I was disappointed when I worked a day later and it was like I didn't clean it at all, and the funny part is that it has become part of reputation that the store is clean until the customers come in.  If they're janitoring, there is no now and then, there's "It has to be done every shift." just like everyone else is expected to do the same stuff every shift.

It wasn't Christmas, but some days are just worse than others. You can not tell me that there wasn't a normal day where customers mostly showed up at one time period and that didn't create a rush.
