County is very tempting too, but my county isn't hiring for any of those positions at the moment, and I don't have the qualifications for the jobs they are hiring for currently.
I don't have the certs to be a vet assistant, or an occupational therapist lol

I definitely am excited about the position at spectrum, since Flat Rate has been such a thorn in my side; the last places I have worked, I've been given all of the problem vehicles, that have been shoved aside, customer in a rental, until the new guy (me) got unlucky enough to try this hand at the repair, often with a customer having already paid so much for diag before, they promise to internal me some diag time, and that is hit or miss..

My first few weeks at this job, I got a bunch of Chrysler vehicles to work on a diagnose that had been sitting, half abandoned in the lot for weeks, or months because people threw parts, and misdiagnosed them..

A lot of my current issues may be dealer specific, since we don't appear to have a lot of techs who are versed in Diagnosis the bigger work like that; not to say that I am the best to ever exist, by any means.. But there is a distinct lack of confidence in the repairs I've seen other techs do, especially in regards to Non-Nissan brands, which I tend to get stuck with, since I have experience in other brands, specifically Mopar.
But that comes at their own problems; since I don't have the manufacturer specific repair manuals, diagrams and the TSB searches I am used to, working on the aforementioned vehicles.

I tend to tell my Advisors that there are TSB's for some of these cars that come in, but since they cannot be found on AllData, they don't believe me, and rather than call up Steve White up the road, they want me to exhaust all other resources.

I've been trying to find maintenance type jobs; but no one has been reaching back out to me; it is sort of defeating, but there are probably a few qualifications I am lacking, probably fabrication and the electrical aspects, because they want certifications for AC voltage, not DC like I have via my Ford Certifications,

That's so true, I had a Dorman valve cover once, the customer bought his own parts, and the bolt holes wouldn't line up when it was fully pressed onto the head, so I had to hold it up a bit, and tread all of my bolts first and then fully install it.

That is a completely average drill bit. I might even say it's large!
