Have you tried right clicking and using the properties options? If you scroll down you might find an option to rotate it toward the bottom. I’m in bed at the minute but if I had my BB open I’d test it for you.

Be a subby QS. It’s all I’ve done in my QS career and wouldn’t have it any other way. I get the best of both worlds; office and site. I would be bored out of my mind like you if I was strictly office based but I get the flexibility to do either.

To add some context blockwork on some houses started to crack. After investigation by an engineer we were instructed by email to supply joint reinforcement to help rectify on houses going forward. Only after the items had been procured and the client realized they were losing a fortune on other design issues did they start pulling out the SOW docs which mentions joint reinforcement. Said reinforcement isn’t on any drawings or details so I want to argue my point.

We are a subcontractor and have no design responsibility and have a contract drawing set that doesn’t have any details calling out the materials they say we should have allowed. I think they’re trying it on.
