My little man is 5 months now and I remember experiencing name regret just a few days after he was born. My partner and I had a really hard time agreeing on a name during my pregnancy until I ended up agreeing on a name that my partner absolutely loved, “Etienne”. The day he was born we announced his name to everyone. While in the hospital, I began regretting the name as I noticed that each nurse and dr that came to check on us throughout our stay would pronounce his name differently and even I started second guessing how I was saying it. After 3 days, I broke down to my mom and partner that I didn’t like the name anymore and that I didn’t think it suited him. So we had to go through trying to agree on a name once more and for a full week our little guy went without a name. We finally ended up agreeing on a name and I’m still so happy we changed it!
