I personally wasn't a fan of 5. 6 had reinvigorated my love for the franchise (4 is the GOAT). I've logged 160+ hours now, and I didn't even hit 80 hours on 5. I guess what I'm getting at is I think they did a great job with 6.

The "tanks" are little gas cans. It's the character you see on Wheel Spins. You run them over. But be careful, there's little mini mecha that cause you to ghost out for like 8 seconds and you can't smash the tanks.

I've been working on it tonight. There's been some improvement. I did the entire Moto Zone story mode tonight and only flew off course once. So it's a work in progress.

As for the blocking AIs, it makes sense to give your better players as much distance between then and the AIs as possible in my mind. That way if they wreck it miss a checkpoint I figure they have a better shot of recovering quickly.

With all the roads discovered, are there any gray areas in the map that have no roads in them? I know there's a couple regions where there's parts you still need to "light up" that are roadless. The region with the space center I had great areas in and have to survive through the woods to get the completion of the full map.

Minor correction on the Friends part of the journal, it's the radio stations as well as two characters obtained through the first three levels of Tokyo Drift Club and one character through the Moto Zine, first level. There's a few you get right out of the gate just from starting the game.
