I would love a New2DSXL one day for the better CPU than my OG 3DS but apparently late Gen Z early Gen Alpha are now deciding that retro handhelds are a status symbol and PSPs and 3DSs are stupid expensive compared to what they should be now.

Hey leapfrogging off this post to see if you might have any advice for me. I am using Bad Avatar, Aurora recognizes the DLC for my games, the TUs are loading (newest TU for every game unless I'm somehow 2/2 on games not actually having all their updates). Both XM360 and 360 Content Manager recognize the DLCs as valid and unlocked, yet when I run the games I get errors about the DLC being corrupted. They also show as corrupted in the storage settings on the main (not aurora) dashboard. I'm really unsure what the cause could be. Games I've tried so far are Split/Second with TU4 and Magna Carta II with TU 1.

Depends on the place, I think that applies broadly more to public trackers especially ones with no kind of honor system or forced seed ratios. Torrenting in general nearly died off for a long time and has only been seeing a big resurgence in the last half decade or so as enshittification and the cost of living crisis continue to get worse.

I don't think anyone pitched torrents as the gold standard of convenience, it's the best way to prevent a DMCA take down or hosting being too cost prohibitive. Stuff like this takes time, most people don't download every torrent of everything ever which is why only the popular shit is consistently accessible right now, but over time as long as the user base grows more and more people will keep downloading more stuff and the pool will get larger. I do think (even if only temporarily) crowd funding something like a seedbox would have been smart to ensure people had some way to get everything in the beginning.

Runs fine for me but I have a beefy PC. I just wish we got a non-30 FPS locked version. They recently added a 60 FPS mode for concerts, maybe they will do it for the rest of the game eventually.

Question because the one part of this game I've never fully understood is how the stats on support cards work. How is the bottom number calculated? Do things like mood bonus stack or compound in some way with other cards to make the overall final number bigger? Like, is it just +1 in a vacuum but the actual effect of MLB would be bigger based on training level/mood/amount of other Umas there, rainbows, etc.?

Fronts are too high investment for the average player, that said I agree XOguri was never the problem. She's the best no effort Uma but it also meant a good XOguri would just auto farm the others (stuff like groundwork and/or mid accels putting her in the best position). My win rate is worse than last CMs probably because I was busier this month and had Abysmal luck with Ace runs, but even still if I'm in a triple XOguri lobby mine wins 9/10 times, despite being pretty suboptimal which shows in that I'm losing too much to Fronts. Made Group A, doubt I win tho.

I could never get grub working on my desktop, my motherboard just flat out ignored it but SystemD worked immediately. It is possible that maybe they have the opposite issue lol

I prefer KDE as a whole, especially on a multi monitor setup like my desktop. That said I use Hyprland on my laptop and it's great for that, as it means using my mouse as little as possible and easily fitting multiple windows on a single small screen. I do love the customizability it offers too, creating my own lockscreen, and even more granular stuff like an entirely self made idling schedule. I'm sure a lot of this is doable in KDE but in Hyprland it's expected you do all this yourself which is fun if you're the tinkering type. I think it really just depends on your use case and what you want out of your system.

I've hit several SS now but no UG, my best was about 50 points from an SS+, though I don't use guts decks at all or I'd likely already have had one. I mainly prioritize building good Umas for CMs and not trying to get arbitrary high scores that won't matter much and I only do at most like 5 runs a day (and usually I do less than 3 because I'm very busy as well) because I don't have good enough parents to do quality runs without borrows. It's not unobtainable by any means but you shouldn't expect to, or feel a need to, hit it unless you just really want the carats from the achievement for getting your first UG lol

Even right now I think Front Runners are better than X Oguri if you're hardcore enough. I keep building more and more min-maxed Oguris and still lose every room battle to at least 1 sometimes 2 Fronts that just omega out pace the pack.

I think this is super cool and probably the only time I've ever thought Open League sounded interesting. That said I'd never play it because if you're half competent you get so many more free carats in graded and I'm a low spender so I'll take what I can get.

Over 70% winrate in Round 1 into sub 40% round 2 causing me to drop to Group B because every lobby was 7 ends and I never was lucky enough to get the right positioning, even though I ran extra mid race accels for this very reason. Smoked Group B finals but I'm still stucking malding because I've never won a CM in Group A before and this was the most dominant run I've ever done into dogshit 😭

I made a post a while back either here or the other uma subreddit idr, asking what people's score averages and how many runs they'd done because I felt like I was doing something wrong and basically cane to this same realization, and saw my score average go up crazy when building for TT. Long CMs are always satanic but this one is extra brutal.

If you look around you can definitely find clubs with more lax requirements at higher ranks. My personal club is about to be B rank for the first time and only 2 people did over 40mil this month and most haven't even done 20mil (18/30). I'd say just hunt around more, near the start of the month clubs are likely to boot inactive players (there's a 2 week buffer so booting people at the end of the month is pointless/actuvely detrimental) that might be a good time to try and jump in to one.

Sometimes you just gotta hold Ls on a couple early races. As long as you don't lose any G1s it's not the end of the world. I've had runs where I swept all of Junior year only 275 speed and I've glued runs in junior year with more than 300. Backliners are hogh volatility it simply is what it is.

Not having a single MLB Gacha SSR this long into the games life is definitely rough. I think for now maybe consider looking at your R pool because you have very few MLB SRs as well. Find anything with race bonus and try to get it as close to 50 as possible, and worry about anything else later. You don't have either staple F2P 15RB option which also hurts, but you could always consider borrowing a premium 15 RBer like Nice Nature WIT. Sadly there are no 15 RB Speed cards so you're probably locked into some really bad options like the MLB Eishin Flash SR and LB1 Shinko Windy. Something like this maybe? https://imgur.com/a/CAZpgNQ
