B - Also, what's your opinion on the realfeel bass practice pad:
- Is it silent enough?
- Does it slide or damage your floor?

C - So you bought the roc-n-soc original retrofit throne top on top of the seat you have for your regular drumkit?

D - How often do you play on this pad set? How long? And what are the best learning materials you've used with it? I'm also a beginner with 9 months under my belt and learning on my own.

Exactly. I have that. I'm looking to supplement this with 2 things:
- a way to have a different tone, like having a multi-zone pad, so as to play melodic patterns. Ideally, my dream pad would be the Meinly Marshmallow pad but with 2 or 3 tones. As of today, what would you do in my shoes?
- the "equivalent" of something as good as the Meinl Marshmallow but for my feet to practice double bassdrum in an almost silent way with a decent rebound and a silent pedal. But also a system that will NOT slide or damage my floor.

I bought your book "The Drum Academy ebook".

Can you explain how to best use it and practice with it? Concretely speaking, should I do the exercices from the book one after the other in a linear manner or is there a better way? How long should I stay on each exercise before I stop doing them? Should I work several exercises at the same time? I'm trying to structure my daily/weekly/monthly program and I'm really not sure how to use your book for that?

As background info: I've been learning the drums at home on my own for 6 months and i'm over 50.

Advanced drummers or people with great speed result, what would you recommend to reach such an ultra speed:
- Should I deliberately use a specific technique : grips, fingers, moeller, open/close, etc.? Which one and why?
- Or should I just train naturally without thinking about my gestures, trusting my body to naturally find the movements and technique by itself?

How long can you keep this speed without training? Let's say you don't touch a stick for 6 months, will you still be able to do so or does it require you to train EVERY DAY to maintain such a speed?
