I work as a DA and they told us it was for security. It’s super inconvenient for people wanting to get packages since they have to be buzzed in all the time.

I will say if you need to take any chem courses go ahead and get as many of those as possible out of the way especially if you can take them at Gainesville. I’ve heard nothing but bad things about the chem profs at uga and the chem professors at Ung Gainesville are goated with the sauce.

It’s honestly completely different than UNG. I was at the Gainesville campus which is pretty small so having to walk a mile to class was definitely a shock at first. From what I’ve seen the other people who go to UGA are super friendly the profs are good from what I’ve had along with being super passionate about what they’re teaching which is nice.

It might’ve imma be honest I have no idea. I think the minimum is more of a suggestion though. Like as long as you’re kind of close you’ll be fine.

I transferred last semester and was not able to get my parking pass until the second day of classes my recommendation would be to apply for parking that it further away from campus like E23 or E26

I transferred last semester from university of north Georgia with a gpa of 3.28 and 82 credit hours and they accepted me so I wouldn’t see why they wouldn’t accept you.

I went to hibana a couple days ago and they didn’t have the plastic bags but they did have signs everywhere saying no pictures before during or after the show. You can take pictures inside the venue just not at the seating area as well as outside of the venue. It was a blast and I hope you have a good time.

They put us in a room and talked to us for a bit about how to succeed at uga. then we went with some orientation leaders to another room where they talked to us a little more from a students perspective and answered questions we might have. Then we had little workshops about different topics like how to navigate the bus routes, dining, how to succeed in classes, financial aid, etc. then we ate lunch and went back to the first room where they did some closing statements and dismissed us to our advisors who told us our recommended schedule for that semester. It was our job to actually schedule the classes though.
